  • Do I need any prior experience, license, or permit to join a class?
    No license or experience required. Our classes are open to all skill levels—from brand-new beginners to experienced shooters.
  • Is there an age requirement to join?
    For safety reasons, our classes are open to participants aged 12 to 65. Kids under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Can I have guests come watch even if they’re not joining?
    To keep things safe and focused, we kindly ask that only participants attend the class. That said, kids under 14 can join with a parent or guardian.
  • Do I need to make a reservation in advance?
    Yes—please book at least one day ahead. We don’t accept same-day reservations.
  • Do you offer bilingual (e.g., Chinese and English) instruction?
    Absolutely! Our classes are available in both English and Chinese. Just leave us a note at checkout if you have any special language requests.
  • Can I just rent a gun without signing up for a package?

  • Do you offer support for firearm purchases?
    We do not offer support for firearm purchases.
  • How long are the classes or experience sessions?
    Most sessions are 2 hours long. FSC and Home Defense courses may vary—please refer to the course page for details. Experience sessions end after 2 hours or when all ammo is used.
  • Can I book a private or one-on-one session?
    Yes! If you prefer a more personalized experience, we offer private one-on-one sessions. It will be just you and your invited guest—no group class.
  • Can I add extra ammunition to my course package?
    Yes, you're welcome to add extra ammunition to your course package. Please let us know in advance—either by email or by leaving a note when booking—and we’ll send you the ammo price list. You can reach us at info@firearmsacademy.org or call/text (669) 899-1366.
  • Can I swap or add a firearm in my experience package?
    Yes, just give us a call (669) 899-1366, and we’ll help you customize your session.
  • What happens in case of bad weather (for outdoor sessions)?
    FAQs are a great way to help site visitors find quick answers to common questions about your business and create a better navigation experience.
  • What should I bring to my class or experience session?
    If you’ve chosen to bring your own firearm and ammo, please refer to the course description for the required gear and ammo count. Be sure to bring your firearm, ammunition, ear and eye protection, and a valid ID (passport or driver’s license). If you're joining an experience session or have selected an academy-provided package, we’ll provide all necessary gear—you only need to bring a valid ID (passport or driver’s license).
  • What should I wear to the range or class?
    Comfortable clothes, long pants, closed-toe shoes. No sandals or low-cut tops—safety first!
  • Do you provide all safety gear?
    If you're using your own firearm, please bring your own safety gear. For experience sessions or academy-provided packages, we’ll supply all necessary safety gear.
  • Is there a refund or reschedule policy?
    We do not offer refunds. However, if you notify us at least 72 hours in advance, your payment can be credited toward a future class (valid for 60 days). No-shows or cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable.
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    We accept PayPal Venmo and credit/debit cards. Please note that credit card payments incur a 3% processing fee.
